Many of you know me from the AMAZING Facebook group, Eating Our Words, which is one of the most active reader groups on the socials. It's hosted by seven authors and boy do we know how to have fun. As many of you know, I'm not much of a fluffy person...okay, I am in the body-type sense, but not so much in the attitude sense. I'm a realist. I live in the real world. I write the real world. Through the years of life kicking me around like a soccerball, I've learned some things. I'm sure you have too. Talking about these things, bringing them out into the open helps me cope. Helps me find solutions. Helps me write characters who find solutions to the unavoidable trials of life.
So that's what we'll do in this blog. Talk about real things in a real way. No sugar coating. No pretense. I tell it like it is. If you like that kind of thing, then great! We can have some deep discussions and build a supportive community.
Things are not going to get easier. The Bible is clear about that. We are watching the collapse of society and western civilization happen in real time. Since we can't change that, how can we thrive in spite of it all?
